New studio Mexican × Taiwanese duo

Tiny games for people who overthink everything.

We’re two best friends from college—one from Mexico, one from Taiwan—making games just because it’s fun, weird, and occasionally emotionally devastating in a good way.

No NFTs. No loot boxes. Just vibes and late-night builds.

About the studio

Built on friendship and bad puns

quiene.studio is a two–person game studio created by a Mexican–Taiwanese duo who have been best friends since college. We grew up in different cultures, but bonded over the same things: games, stories, and the feeling of “wait, is this idea too weird?”

We don’t chase trends. We chase that specific feeling when a game makes you laugh, think, and care about a character made of 12 polygons and a single sound effect.

Remote-first dev PC + console (someday) Indie at heart Story + mechanics = ♥

Our goals are simple:

  • Make games that feel personal and a bit strange.
  • Experiment with narrative, culture, and humor.
  • Stay small enough to still be having fun.

We’re early days. Think of this like a teaser trailer for the studio itself.

Narrative · Single-player · PC

Our first game is brewing. Expect dialogue with feelings, decisions that (no) matter, and maybe (many) jokes that land a little too close to real life.

Tiny games exploring culture, language, and identity. Quick to play, made to linger in your head longer than they should.

The name

Why “quiene.studio”?

If you speak Spanish, you probably already hear it: “¿Quién estudió?”

The pun

quiene.studio sounds like “¿Quién estudió?”, which means “Who studied?” in Spanish.

It’s our way of saying: we take our craft seriously, but also not too seriously. We’re always learning, always experimenting, and slightly confused most of the time — in a good way.
